Candidate & Ward

MEET YOUR LOCAL CANDIDATE

Rob Adlard.

Rob Adlard is the Conservative Candidate in the forthcoming by-election for the Longdendale ward.  Rob was the Parliamentary Candidate in May, in which he reduced Labour’s majority from 8500 down to just 2744.
Peter Hayes, who stood for Council in May,  is Rob’s political agent this time.  Peter’s work commitments prevented him standing this time.   As Rob’s agent, Peter is fully involved in Rob’s campaign (including writing this post!).

Rob lives in Broadbottom with his girlfriend Claire and their dog.  He is a professional musician with the Halle Orchestra and also runs his own retail business.

ABOUT THE LONGENDALE & HATTERSLY WARD

The Longdendale Ward covers Mottram, Broadbottom, Hollingworth and part of Hattersley (the remainder of Hattersley is in Godley Ward).
